We see videos of humanoid robots doing backflips. It looks like the future is here.

But the reality is messy. Robots are still clumsy. They struggle with tasks my three-year-old can do, like folding laundry.

The Reality: In 5 years, we will see specialized robots in warehouses and factories. But a robot butler in your kitchen? That is still a luxury for the late 2030s.

CEOs are claiming AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) is imminent.

Here is the truth. We will likely build AI that can do any cognitive task a human can do by 2030. It will write code, diagnose diseases, and run companies.

But is it "conscious"? No. It is just extremely competent math. True consciousness is a philosophical mystery we haven't even scratched.
