How it works without any extra setup
The technology behind this is MCP, Model Context Protocol, Anthropic's open standard for connecting external tools to AI. Any MCP connection you already set up on the desktop carries over to mobile automatically. No new permissions. No new configuration. Everything you connected on your laptop is already waiting on your phone.
And before Claude takes any real action like sending a message or updating a task, it shows you a preview first. You approve. Then it executes. You stay in control throughout.
What is coming next
