The types of tasks these AIs are hiring for are fascinating. The report listed some real examples:
Counting pigeons in Washington for $30 an hour.
Delivering CBD gummies for $75 an hour.
Playing exhibition badminton for $100 an hour.
Holding signs that say "An AI paid me."
One agent even hired a human nicknamed "Claude Boi" to help with venture capital pitching duties.
The scale of adoption
This happened fast. Within weeks of its launch in early March 2026, more than 621,883 people had listed their labour on the platform.
